Investigation Results on Sunken Warship Case Are Untrustworthy: S. Korean Party Leader

| Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- The representative of the opposition Party for Democracy and Peace of south Korea said that he cannot trust the results of investigation into the sunken warship Cheonan case, according to the south Korean newspaper Media Onul on Monday. Noting that the people are skeptical about the results announced by the former regime, he blamed the present authorities for making the results an established fact. He said he can neither trust the explanation given by the former conservative regime which abused the south-north relations for their political interests nor completely trust the results published by the then joint investigation team. Pointing out that there still remain many doubts about the scientific accuracy of the results, he called for the lift of the "May 24 step". |
