On display there were more than hundreds of sci-tech successes made in increasing the proportion of locally available finishing building materials and diversifying them and putting the architectural lightning on a Juche basis.

Building parts and light decoration designs presented by the building materials research institute of the Paektusan Institute of Architecture, the Chollima Tile Factory, the Taedonggang Building-materials Factory, etc. drew attention of the visitors.

Appreciated at the sci-tech presentation were eighteen papers which contributed to the development of the finishing building materials and the drive for putting production on a scientific basis.

Present at the ceremony were Pak Thae Song, vice-chairman of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, Jo Sok Ho, chairman of the Capital City Construction Commission, and officials, scientists and technicians of ministries, national institutions, relevant units, fields of science and education and industrial establishments in Pyongyang.
