There were celebration meetings, book and photo exhibitions and film shows in Denmark, Norway, Finland, Switzerland and Mexico between Oct. 3 and 8.

Displayed at their venues were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

The chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association said that under the distinguished guidance of Kim Il Sung the WPK defended the gains of the revolution and led the struggle of the Korean people for building a powerful socialist state to victory.

The WPK had grown stronger thanks to Kim Jong Il, he noted, stressing that the party-building exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are creditably carried forward by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway said that since its foundation the WPK has creditably discharged its mission and role as the general staff of the revolution without any slightest mistake or deviation in implementing its line.

The chairperson of the Mexico-Korea Friendship Association praised the history of the WPK founded and developed by the great leaders, and referred to the fact that the people of the DPRK have honorably defended the country's sovereignty and dignity under the direction of the Party.

Messages of greetings to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Switzerland.
