The general secretary of the Socialist Unionist Party of Syria noted that the WPK has firmly adhered to the principle of independence over more than 70 years since it was founded and led to victory the Korean people's struggle for defending the country's sovereignty and dignity and achieving the country's reunification.

A vice-chairperson of the Tanzanian National Coordinating Committee of the Juche Idea Study Groups said that the WPK, guiding forces of Korea's society, could make a brilliant history of victory as it thoroughly and constantly maintained the principle of independence in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliance in defence, guided by the Juche idea.

Speakers said at a lecture in Uganda that the history of the WPK is the proud one of struggle in which it has always achieved victory and glory and that a new era of peace and prosperity has come to the Korean peninsula thanks to the outstanding political ability and bold decision of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, who carries forward the idea and cause of the preceding leaders without an inch of deflection.
