WPK Praised by Foreign Newspapers

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers gave special write-ups on Oct. 2-17 to mark the 21st anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, the 73rd founding anniversary of the WPK and the 92nd anniversary of the formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU).

The Tanzanian newspaper Uhuru carried an article titled "The Workers' Party of Korea praised by the people" illustrated with a photo of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The article said that the Korean people praise the WPK for having been responsible for their destiny and having served them.

It is quite natural that the people sincerely follow and trust the party.

As a deep-rooted tree weathers the raging wind, the WPK enjoying absolute trust from the people always emerges invincible.

The Zambian newspaper Top Rating and the Zimbabwean newspaper Herald praised Kim Jong Il's party leadership history to be remembered forever.

The Egyptian newspaper Al Akhbar Almassay carried articles praising his undying party-building exploits.

In an article titled "The party strong in independence" it said it is thanks to the WPK that the DPRK has steadily implemented the line of independence in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliance in national defence in the face of all storms of history.
