Attending it were officials in the fields of national heritage conservation, science and education, literature and arts and mass media, teachers and researchers and members of foreign embassies and missions of international bodies here and overseas compatriots staying here.

At the seminar, held under the theme of "intangible cultural heritages--acceding to the convention and 10 year-long efforts", there was a show of video introducing the intangible cultural heritages of the DPRK and its successes made in the work to preserve them.

Speeches were made under such titles as "Acceding to the international convention and the conservation of intangible cultural heritages in the DPRK", "Sustained development of intangible cultural heritages and the role of education", "Intangible cultural heritages and regional protection" and "Moxibustion that has developed along with the conservation of intangible cultural heritages".

Certificates were conferred on the national and local intangible cultural heritages newly registered this year.
