Taking part in it were officials, teachers, researchers, graduate students and students from different units including Pyongyang Agricultural College of Kim Il Sung University, Kye Ung Sang Agricultural College of Kim Il Sung University and the Kangwon Provincial Institute of Agricultural Science.

Presented to it, divided into several panels, were more than 170 papers conducive to solving the sci-tech problems arising in breeding new high-yielding strains, positively applying the advanced agricultural technology and methods and putting the rural economy on an integrated mechanized basis.

During the presentation, its participants had lectures on the latest agricultural science and technology and toured the venue of the exhibition at which agro-scientific and technological achievements were displayed.
