Personages of various strata and masses of the relevant countries were present at the events.

The chief editor of the organ of the League for National Democracy of Myanmar said:

There are many political parties in the world, but none of them is on a par with the Workers' Party of Korea that has become a harmonious whole with the popular masses and glorified its more than 70 year-long history with victory, enjoying absolute trust of the people.

President Kim Il Sung founded the WPK and cemented its foundations and HE Kim Jong Il developed it into a party of the leader, a mass party that has taken roots deep among the popular masses and the guiding force of Korea's society.

The WPK led by HE Kim Jong Un is powerfully guiding all the people to socialist construction.

The secretary-general of the Karachi Branch of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association and other speakers noted that under the wise guidance of the great leaders the WPK has advanced victoriously the people's cause of independence and the cause of socialism, holding high the banner of the Juche idea since its birth and that Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un develops the WPK into the party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Meanwhile, such events as friendly meeting, book and photo exhibition and film show were held at the DPRK missions in Malaysia and Equatorial Guinea on Oct. 5 and 9 to mark the said anniversaries.
