DPRK's Holidays in October Marked Abroad

Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- Such events as seminar, meeting and book, photo and craftwork exhibition took place in Russia, Sweden, Nepal, Laos and Mexico to mark the 21st anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 73rd founding anniversary of the WPK. On display at their venues were photos of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. There were also works of the peerlessly great persons and books, photos and craftworks showing the reality of the DPRK. Personages of various strata and masses of the relevant countries were present at the events. The chairperson of the Khabarovsk Territorial Branch Committee of "A Just Russia" said that the WPK enjoys absolute support and trust from the popular masses as it has devotedly served the people, and hoped that the Korean people would make bigger success under the guidance of Chairman Kim Jong Un. The chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea stressed that all the achievements made in the DPRK would be unthinkable without the guidance of the WPK headed by Chairman Kim Jong Un. The chairman of the Nepal Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics stressed that nobody would provoke the DPRK which has achieved a harmonious whole of the leader, the party and the masses and that the DPRK will grow stronger in the future. The secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union and the general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico praised the 70-odd years of history of the WPK which has emerged ever-victorious under the leadership of the peerlessly great men, and expressed the belief that only victory and glory will be always in store for the Korean people led by the WPK. Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events in Russia and Nepal. |
