S. Korea: LKP Blasted for Hindering Implementation of Panmunjom Declaration

Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- Students, youth, civic and public organisations in south Korea held a news conference outside the building of the "Liberal Korea Party" (LKP) on Oct. 24 to condemn the LKP for hindering the implementation of the Panmunjom declaration, according to the south Korean online paper Tongil News.

The speakers said that the south-north summit meetings and talks gave a hope that reconciliation between the south and the north would lead to removal of war crisis and peace on the Korean peninsula.

They charged that the LKP has opposed the ratification by the "National Assembly" of the Panmunjom declaration supported by the majority of the population.
