They are Yang Man Chun (7th century), Nam I (1441-1468), Choe Mu Son (1326-1395) and Paek Son Haeng (1848-1933).

Yang Man Chun was a general of Koguryo (B.C. 277-A.D. 668) who played a great role in the battle for defending Walled Anshi.

Nam I was also a general in the period of feudal Joson dynasty (1392-1910) who performed great feats of bravery in a battle against the Nuchen race.

Choe Mu Son was an inventor of gunpowder and gunpowder weapons which proved their power in the naval battle of Jinpho in 1380 and other battles.

Paek Son Haeng was a patriotic woman in Pyongyang who donated a large sum of money on behalf of the nation.
