Players from the Amnokgang Defence Sports Team gained 1 694 points in women's 10 meter running target team event, thus breaking the world record (1 673 points made in the 52nd ISSF World Championship).

And players from the Defense Sports Team of the Korean People's Army set new national records in the events of men's individual 10m air rifle shooting, women's individual 50m 3-position rifle shooting and women's individual 10m air pistol shooting.
