Presented to it are green building materials produced by companies of the DPRK, China and other countries through application of the latest sci-tech achievements as well as scientific and technological data and multi-purpose furniture.

Present at the opening ceremony were Vice-Premier Ri Ryong Nam, Minister of External Economic Relations Kim Yong Jae, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Architects Union of Korea Sim Yong Hak, officials concerned and officials of the exhibiting units, and foreign diplomatic envoys here.

Pak Ung Sik, president of the Korean International Exhibition Corporation, made an opening address before a congratulatory speech by Ri Chung Gil, chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked around the exhibition hall.

The exhibition will last till November 1.
