She said that the world has not yet witnessed such cruel sanctions like the ones put on the DPRK.

What is amazing is that the DPRK is making progress in the face of such harsh sanctions, she added.

Noting that she was deeply moved to see the admirably changed looks of Pyongyang, the chairwoman said that there sprang up modern houses and buildings of different forms; streets were kept very clean and the city was beautified very well.

Needless to say, all was provided by the efforts of the Korean people, she said.
