The centrifugal ventilator with great effectiveness in fundamentally improving the ventilation condition of pits in collieries and mines is widely being introduced into collieries across the country.

It lowers the gas concentration of the pit markedly, doubles the fan delivery and decreases the power consumption sharply.

It can be installed in pits directly.

This home-made ventilator has been introduced into the Tokchon Coal Mine of the Tokchon Area Coal-Mining Complex to prove effective.

Now, it is being introduced into the project of waterway tunnel of the Tanchon Power Station to make contribution to increasing the tunneling speed.

According to Dr. Yu Hyon Su, the newly-developed ventilator was designed to be small in its size and high in its capacity, and the lost foam casting technology was applied to making the vane wheel of the ventilator.
