Anti-reunification Act of "Liberal Korea Party" Protested

Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- Not content with having obstructed the ratification of the Panmunjom Declaration at the "National Assembly", the "Liberal Korea Party" said it would make an "application of provisional disposition of halt to effect" as to the Pyongyang joint declaration and agreement in the military field under the pretext of the so-called "procedural issue", according to Yonhap News, the internet paper Jaju Sibo, etc. of south Korea.

A spokesperson for the Party for Democracy and Peace said that the only LKP fails to abandon its conservative Cold War way of thinking at a time when the whole world anticipates peace of the Korean peninsula and stressed that the implementation of the declaration is the will of the people and demand of history.

The South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration pointed out that the LKP's act of slandering the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" betrayed that it has no desire for peace of the Korean peninsula and the development of inter-Korean relations.

It urged the LKP to immediately scrap its policy of confrontation running counter to the era of the north-south reconciliation and cooperation.

Other organizations warned that the conservative remnants would only face the judgment of history, unless it kicks its bad habit.
