Present there were the north side's delegation led by Won Kil U, vice-minister of Physical Culture and Sports, and the south side's delegation with Ro Thae Gang, vice-minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as chief delegate.

At the talks both sides discussed the practical issues for activating cooperation and exchange in the field of sports to demonstrate the dignity of the nation and united appearance in the international games and adopted a joint press release.
