DPRK Player Bags 3 Gold Medals at World Weightlifting Championship

| Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- DPRK player Om Yun Chol bagged three gold medals at the 2018 World Weightlifting Championship of the International Weightlifting Federation. The championship which started in Turkmenistan on Nov. 1 brought together more than 600 men and women weightlifters from more than 80 countries and regions including the DPRK, China, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. He snatched 120 kg in the 55kg category of men's weightlifting on Nov. 2 to take the first place. He jerked 162 kg, coming first. He lifted a total of 282kg, 20kg more than other players, winning three gold medals. |
