Present there from the north side were Kim Yong Dae, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Social Democratic Party who is chairman of the Consultative Council for National Reconciliation, and delegates of organizations of various circles and from the south side were Kim Hong Gol, permanent chairman of the All-People Consultative Council for National Reconciliation and Cooperation and delegates of organizations of various circles.

At a solidarity meeting of the consultative councils for national reconciliation of the north and the south, speakers called upon all political parties, organizations and personages of the north and the south to prioritize the common demand and interests of the nation irrespective of political view, religious belief, faction, affiliation and isms and realize the solidarity and alliance.

A joint resolution was adopted at the solidarity meeting.

The delegates of the north and the south had inter-sector meetings to express their determination to keep the Panmunjom Declaration and the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" as the landmark for reunification.

They looked round Lagoon Samil area of Mt Kumgang tourist zone.
