U.S. and Japan Accused by S. Korean Youth and Students

| Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- The University Students' Party and the Progressive Federation of University Students of south Korea reportedly held a news conference in Seoul on October 30 to urge the U.S. and Japanese authorities to stop their infringement upon south Korea's sovereignty. The organizations said in the press release that the people have demanded independence and democracy since the Japanese imperialists occupied Korea. They charged that the Japanese government is preoccupied with the ambition for reinvasion, far from making an apology and reparation for the crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists. They deplored that the people's interests are now encroached but the U.S. interests are protected under the pretext of the "alliance". |
