On display at the exhibition were over 150 000 pieces of consumer goods of more than 4 500 kinds made at light industrial establishments across the country and daily necessaries production units of factories and enterprises under ministries and national institutions.

Attending the ceremony were Ri Ju O, vice-premier of the Cabinet; Choe Il Ryong, minister of Light Industry; Jo Yong Chol, minister of Local Industry; Ri Kang Son, minister of Daily Necessities Industry, officials concerned, officials of the units which presented the exhibits, scientists, technicians and workers.

At the end of the opening ceremony the participants looked around the exhibition.

The exhibition will continue till Nov. 8.
