Present there were the north side's delegation led by Pak Myong Su, president of the State Sanitary Inspection Board under the Ministry of Public Health, and the south side's delegation with Kwon Tok Chol, vice-minister of Health and Welfare, as chief delegate.

At the talks both sides discussed the measures for promoting cooperation in prevention of epidemics, public health and medical service to prevent the inflow and spread of the infectious disease, and adopted a joint press release.
