It was attended by teachers, researchers, technicians and others from scores of units including Kim Il Sung University, Wonsan University of Agriculture, the Haeju Cocoon Production Office and the Hanggu Cocoon Production Office.

It heard more than 70 valuable papers on sci-tech successes and experience gained by officials and workers in the field of sericulture in a mass technological innovation movement for increasing production of cocoon.

A lecture on the trend of development of sericulture took place during the presentation.
