In the message Kim said that he was pleased that the government and people of Cambodia are making success in the efforts for defending the country's sovereignty, achieving the unity and prosperity of the nation and developing the economy.

Expressing the belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would continue to develop on good terms in the future, he wished the Cambodian prime minister bigger success in his work.

On the same day, DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho sent a congratulatory message to Prak Sokhon, deputy prime minister and minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia.
