Among the spectators were Kim Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, officials concerned, disabled persons, table-tennis amateurs, working people, youth and students in Pyongyang, foreigners and overseas Koreans staying in the homeland.

The players competed, divided into a group of disabled and old persons, groups of men amateurs of different ages and amateur men's singles and mixed doubles.

Cups, medals and certificates were conferred upon the groups and players who proved successful at the tournament.
