Japanese Enterprise Urged to Compensate Victims of Conscript Labor

Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- The south Korean paper Hangyore said on Nov. 9 that Japanese legal circles urged a Japanese enterprise to make reparation to four victims of the conscript labor forced by Japanese imperialists.

Over 100 Japanese lawyers in a statement said on Nov. 5 that the Japanese government perverted the essence of the issue on the reparation to victims of the conscript labor.

Now that the decision on compensation was confirmed, the Japanese enterprise should pay reparations to victims and the Japanese government should take measures for it, said one of those lawyers at a press conference on Nov. 7.
