They bagged five gold medals, four silver medals and three bronze medals at the championship held in Turkmenistan from Nov. 1 to 10.

Om Yun Chol won three gold medals in the men's 55kg category of the championship.

Rim Jong Sim came first in the women's snatch of 76kg category, and Kim Un Ju in the women's jerk of 87kg category.

Rim Jong Sim placed second in the women's jerk of 76kg category and total, and Kim Un Ju and Rim Un Sim in the total of women's 87kg and 64kg categories.

Kim Un Ju and Kim Kuk Hyang took the third place in the women's snatch of 87kg and over 87kg categories, and Rim Un Sim in the women's jerk of 64kg category.
