Dermot Hudson, chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee set a remembrance period between Nov. 17 and Dec. 17 and decided to organize political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il.
