Rodong Sinmun Discloses Aim of Japanese Ruling Quarters to Revise Constitution
Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- The Japanese ruling quarters reveal their ambition to revise the constitution.

Abe, who finished an acute political schedule such as the election for the president of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, laid a foundation for power in such a way as revising the constitution.

In order to get rid of criticism at home and abroad, he is describing the revision of the constitution as the "ideal of the state" with clamor about the "responsibility of a politician" to implant "pride" in the men of the "Self-Defence Forces".

Rodong Sinmun Saturday in an article says that lurking behind Abe's talks about "pride" is the ambition to turn Japan into a war state.

Noting that the purpose for the revision of the constitution is to turn Japan "an ordinary state" capable of conducting a war, it goes on:

This is just the "ideal of the state" advertised by Abe.

It is a more dangerous design, taking into consideration Japan which still refuses to make an apology and reparation for its past crimes. A criminal does not admit his crime because of an ill intention to repeat it.

The international community does not allow Japan to become "an ordinary state" trying to provoke a war of aggression.

The Japanese people set themselves against the moves of the ultra-right politicians for reinvasion which will lead to the second defeat of Japan.

What remains to be done by Japan is not the revision of the constitution but a sincere apology and reparation for its past crimes. This is the way of turning Japan into a genuine normal state.
