The tournament brought together at least 200 men and women players from the DPRK, China, Singapore and other countries and regions.

The DPRK players won three gold medals, two silver medals and a bronze medal.

Ko Haeng Bok took the first place at the senior women's canoeing single-seater 500m and 200m races and O Su Rim second and third place respectively.

Cha Un Yong bagged a gold medal at the junior women's canoeing single-seater 18.4km race and Jong Ye Song a silver medal.
