H. Jacobsen, member of the Leadership of the Communist Party in Denmark, Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, and the chief of the Danish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea were elected co-chairmen of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to hold political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il to mark the 7th anniversary of his demise.
