The championships held in India from Nov. 15 to 24 brought together more than 270 boxers from at least sixty countries and regions including the DPRK, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Germany.

DPRK player Pang Chol Mi separately beat her Indian and American rivals 5:0 in the quarter finals and semi finals of the 51 kg category.

She took the first place, defeating her Kazakhstan rival 5:0 in the finals.

Kim Hyang Mi and Jo Son Hwa separately won bronze medals in the 48 kg category and the 57 kg category.
