Implementation of Inter-Korean Joint Declarations Urged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity of Movement for Independent Reunification, Peace and Prosperity in south Korea held a meeting of co-representatives in Seoul on Nov. 27 and discussed the issues of implementing the Panmunjom Declaration and the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" and the action orientation of the organization, according to the south Korean internet paper Jaju Sibo.

A resolution titled "Let's thoroughly implement the Panmunjom Declaration and the September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" was adopted at the meeting.

The resolution said that the Panmunjom Declaration is a new milestone for the independent reunification, peace and prosperity of the Korean nation and the world peace that inherits the historical June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, and the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" is its action programme.

It urged the "government", "National Assembly", local self-governing bodies, all the political parties and social organizations to thoroughly implement the Panmunjom Declaration and the Pyongyang Joint Declaration with the concerted efforts on the principle of national independence and national self-determination.
