Present at the presentation and exhibition which opened under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea were teachers, researchers and graduate students of various units including Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, the State Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Consumer Goods Industry.

Presented to them, divided into metal, inorganic, organic, compound material panels, were more than 130 papers and 100-odd exhibits reflecting scientific and technical achievements and experience gained in the metal and chemical material fields.

There took place lectures and a video show on the study of high-tech materials and their application and development prospect in the period.
