New Science Films Produced in DPRK
Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- The Korean Documentary and Science Film Studio has recently produced new science films.

Among the films are "Mysterious Effect of Starfish", "Production of Sodium Carbonate with Glauberite", "Breeding of Pollack Fries" of "Breeding of Pollack" (1) and "Common Sense in Science No. 135".

"Mysterious Effect of Starfish" deals with the role and effect of starfish's elements in human body. It shows the ecological character of starfish, stressing that the elements of starfish help promote the growth of children and improve the function of human liver and that they can be widely used in various fields like agriculture and stockbreeding.

"Production of Sodium Carbonate with Glauberite" tells about the economic profitability of glauberite-based sodium carbonate production, stressing the need to more actively put the national economy on a Juche, modern and scientific basis by completing the production process of sodium carbonate with glauberite as starting raw material.

"Breeding of Pollack Fries" gives an exposition of sci-tech problems arising in breeding pollack fries and "Common Sense in Science No. 135" deals with common knowledge on the protection and treatment of human eyes.
