Appreciated were Kim Il Sung University, Pyongyang Medical College of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, .Hamhung University of Chemical Engineering, the Research Institute of Mining Machinery under the State Academy of Sciences, the Compound Pharmaceutical Institute of the Academy of Medical Science, etc.

At a sci-tech presentation, various papers gathered the interest of the participants as they are of great significance in the public health practice.

Attending the closing ceremony were Ri Ryong Nam, vice-premier of the Cabinet; Choe Tong Myong, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea; Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission; Ri Chung Gil, chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology, officials concerned and officials of the units which presented the exhibits, scientists, technicians, three-revolution team members and others.
