A remembrance meeting took place in Venezuela and seminars on Kim Jong Il's exploits in Russia and Uganda from November 29 to December 2.

The chairman of the Yaracuy State Legislative Council of Venezuela said that socialism is victoriously advancing in the DPRK as Kim Jong Il firmly defended the banner of socialism and demonstrated its vitality and dignity all over the world.

A vice chief of the Russian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK said that Kim Jong Il defended the destiny of the country and people by pursuing Songun politics and provided a sure guarantee for building a powerful socialist country in the most arduous days as to the Korean people, adding that as he loved the people before anything else, he was always on the road for the well-being of the people till the last moments of his life.

Saying that Kim Jong Il made his unbounded devotion and efforts for the building of powerful Korea as it is, the participants in the seminar held in Uganda noted that his precious exploits for global independence will remain long.
