Chairman Kim Jong Il to Be Remembered in Switzerland

| Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- A Swiss committee for remembering the 7th anniversary of the demise of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, the Swiss Organizing Committee for the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on December 2 with the approach of the 7th anniversary of the demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il. The statement said the world progressives praise Kim Jong Il as an outstanding state leader as he performed immortal feats for the reunification of Korea and global independence. It noted that Kim Jong Il's demise was the greatest loss to the Korean people and progressive mankind. It pointed out that Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un made sure that Kim Jong Il is held in high esteem as the eternal leader of the Korean people and his revolutionary career and exploits remain long. It said that Kim Jong Un is carrying forward Kim Jong Il's idea and line without an inch of deflection. It noted that he provided historic north-south summit meetings one after another this year to adopt the Panmunjom Declaration and the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" and thus performed great exploits in implementing Kim Jong Il's instructions for national reunification. |
