The beloved country and people were always kept in his mind even when he was on his foreign tours.

He, who worked heart and soul with his warm love and devotion to the people, passed away on a running train while making high-intensity forced march for field guidance without a moment's rest. In retrospect, his whole life was that of love and devotion to the people.

An Algerian personage said in an article titled "History of great man will always go down with unchangeable loyalty of people":

HE Kim Jong Il was, indeed, the greatest man as he made a ceaseless journey of field guidance for the beloved country and people without moment's rest despite his pent-up fatigue.

The course of field guidance in which he visited more than 14 000 units across the country in his lifetime is equivalent to 17 times the circumference of the earth.

I pay the highest tribute to HE Kim Jong Il being revered by all people, with my will to follow him forever.

The South African Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism posted on its website an article titled "Eternal leader of Korean people" illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

It said:

Leader Kim Jong Il made ceaseless journey of devotion to the country and people till the last moments of his life.

The Korean people's cause of building a powerful socialist nation is a sacred cause for realizing his lifetime plan and desire.

Leader Kim Jong Il will be always praised as the eternal leader of the Korean people.
