Choe Un Bok, chairwoman of the association, was elected chairwoman of the remembrance committee.

According to a decision of the committee, the headquarters and branches of the association will hold political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the anniversary of his demise.
