The Nigerian paper Nigerian Observer on December 7 said in an article titled "Kim Jong Il, leader of the people" that HE Kim Jong Il loved his people boundlessly.

He regarded the people as the most precious being in the world and devotedly served them, the article said, and went on:

He, who regarded the interest of the people as the starting point of his all thinking and activities, spared nothing for their happiness.

HE Kim Jong Il possessed plain, humble, unreserved and popular traits.

He turned the DPRK into a genuine socialist state centered on the popular masses with his outstanding leadership.

The Bangladeshi newspaper The Daily Folk on December 9 carried an article titled "Last year of devotion" that highly praised Kim Jong Il who made the journey of love for the people till the last moments of his life.
