Present there were the north side's delegation led by Won Kil U, vice-minister of Physical Culture and Sports, and the south side's delegation with Ro Thae Gang, vice-minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as chief delegate.

At the talks both sides discussed practical issues for cooperation and exchange in the fields of sports, like joint advance into the 2020 Summer Olympic Games and joint bid to co-host the 2032 Summer Olympic Games and adopted a joint press release.
