Present there were Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, and other senior government officials, the chairperson of a friendly party and officials of power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions.

Seen standing before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il was a floral basket bearing the august name of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and a floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK.

Placed before the statues was a floral basket in the joint name of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

The senior government officials paid respects to the statues.

At the hall where Kim Jong Il lies in state, they made bows to him.
