Japanese Reactionaries Hit for Denying Past Crimes
Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- The Supreme Court of south Korea recently made a judgment that Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. should indemnify the Koreans who had been forced into conscript labor under the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule over Korea. Japanese politicians are crying out for taking tough measures against it.

Foreign Minister Kono in a statement said that Japan can "never accept the judgment", adding "all options are on the table for strong reaction."

The Liberal Democratic Party, under the pretext of discussing a "countermeasure" against the judgment of the Supreme Court of south Korea, fussily convened a joint meeting involving the diplomatic section, the "special committee for restoring honor and confidence of Japan" and others.

Rodong Sinmun Thursday in a commentary terms this a farce of the morally depraved ones keen on distorting history and denying the past crimes.

The Japanese reactionaries are behaving impudently to beautify the history of aggression while denying the past crimes, far from admitting the crimes and honestly apologizing for them, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The Japanese reactionaries are desperately denying the past crimes. Such brazen-faced behavior is enraging not only the Korean nation but also the peace-loving people in the world.

The crime-woven history of Japan can never be written off.

There is no statute of limitations to the crimes against humanity.

No matter how desperately Japan moves to evade responsibility for the past crimes, it can never twist the truth and justice of history.
