The Laotian paper Pasason on Dec. 14 carried an article titled "Great Revolutionary Life of Comrade Kim Jong Il."

The paper said that Kim Jong Il strengthened the Workers' Party of Korea into an ever-victorious guiding force and the DPRK into a powerful socialist country and the Korean People's Army into an invincible army.

The December issue of the German paper Rote Fahne in an article titled "Korea, White Snow in December" noted that the yearning of the Korean people for Kim Jong Il grows stronger as the days go by.

The Iranian Ilna posted an article titled "Last Year of Great Devotion" on its website on Dec. 11.

The article said that Kim Jong Il was a genuine leader of the people who dedicated his all to the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people during his life, introducing the journey of devotion to the people that he had made in the last days of his life.

The Nepalese paper Arpan on Dec. 14 in an article titled "Kim Jong Il, Leader of People" said that he led the revolution and construction, firmly trusting in the people and relying on them.

The article said:

He regarded himself as the son of the working people and shared the destiny with them.

His noble image will be always remembered by the Korean people and the world progressives.

The Zimbabwean newspaper Herald on Dec. 14 carried articles praising him for building the Workers' Party of Korea.
