The Lao president expressed his sincere gratitude to Kim Jong Un for sending encouraging and warm congratulations and best wishes to the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the government and people of Laos and him on behalf of the Central Committee of the LPRP and government and people of the LPDR and for his part on the occasion of the 43rd birthday of the LPDR.

He expressed his belief that the DPRK would continue to develop into a powerful and prosperous socialist state under the energetic leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by Kim Jong Un.

He was sure that good unity and traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and governments would further develop in the interests of the peoples of the LPDR and the DPRK and thus make contribution to peace, friendship and cooperation of the region and the world.

He paid high respect to Kim Jong Un, wishing him good health and happiness and greater success in his noble work.
