Javid Ahmad, chairman of the Kuwait Asian Journalist Association who is chairman of the Kuwaiti committee for remembering the great leader General Kim Jong Il, in a statement on Dec. 15 said that by pursuing the original Songun politics, Kim Jong Il strengthened the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power which no formidable enemy dares to provoke and reliably guaranteed peace and security of the Korean peninsula and the rest of the world.

The chairman of the Algeria-Korea Friendship Association in a statement on Dec. 13 said that Kim Jong Il was a peerless patriot who dedicated his all to the prosperity and development of socialist Korea and a genuine leader of the people who shared the destiny with them, possessed of boundlessly modest, simple and popular traits.

He praised Kim Jong Il as an iron-willed commander who strengthened the DPRK into an impregnable socialist fortress and reliably defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country against the imperialists' vicious moves to stifle it with sanctions, adding that his noble image will always be kept in the hearts of mankind.
