Wreaths Laid before Bust of Kim Jong Suk
Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were placed before the bust of anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on Monday, her 101st birth anniversary.

Seen before the bust was a wreath sent by Supreme Leader of the Party, state and army Kim Jong Un.

Attending the wreath-laying ceremony were Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Nung O, chairman of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, members of the WPK Central Committee, officials of the power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, commissions and national institutions, teaching staff and students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and officials of institutions and factories in the city.

Also present there were Army General No Kwang Chol, minister of the People's Armed Forces, and other members of the armed forces organs.

A wreath in the joint name of the WPK Central Committee, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and the DPRK Cabinet was laid before the bust.

Wreaths in the names of armed forces organs, working people's organizations, commissions, national institutions, revolutionary schools, party and power organs and factories in the city were placed.

The participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of the career and exploits of Kim Jong Suk.
