They included remembrance meetings in Pakistan, Zimbabwe and Austria and a seminar in Sweden from December 13 to 17.

The chairman of the Lahore Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of Pakistan said that the life of Chairman Kim Jong Il was the one of a great revolutionary and patriot who totally dedicated to the country and people, adding the noble career and exploits of the peerlessly great man who led the Korean revolution to victory under the uplifted banner of Songun will always be remembered by the Korean people and other progressive peoples in the world.

The principal of Kuwazana Primary School No. 2 of Zimbabwe and other speakers recalled that Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into an invincible political and military power and firmly defended global peace and security.

The participants in the remembrance meeting in Austria said that Kim Jong Il performed undying exploits for peace, prosperity and reunification of the Korean peninsula.

The chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea pointed out the greatest exploit of Kim Jong Il is that he pursued the Songun politics when the DPRK was undergoing the hardest trials and thus defended the sovereignty of the country and happiness of its people and laid a solid foundation for building a powerful nation.

Though Kim Jong Il passed away, he will always be remembered by humankind, he stressed.

A message to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar in Sweden.
