Present there from the north side were Ri Son Gwon, chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country of the DPRK, and officials concerned and from the south side Kim Hyon Mi, minister of Land and Transport, and other personages concerned.

Also present there were foreigners from different countries, including those related to cooperation in building railway and road.

Speeches were made there.

And there took place ceremonies symbolic of the projects for reconnecting and modernizing the railways and roads along the eastern and western coasts of Korea.
